Interior courtyard
Our latest rally sponsor is located in Suchitoto, one of the top ten tourist destinations in El Salvador. Restaurant/Hotel Los Almendros de San Lorenzo is located near the towns’ central square. The owner, Pascal Lebaily, built this wonderful hotel and restaurant about six years ago. The interior looks more like a museum than a restaurant. Gourmet meals are served in a nicely decorated, air-conditioned dining room, and are moderately priced plus they offer an extensive wine list. From the dining room you have a view of the tropical courtyard and pool area.

Room accommodations are equally elegant with large, tiled showers, air-conditioning and luxury beds. If you attended one of our rally seminars you will notice that Los Almendros is one of the hotels featured in the CD. Pascal has given the rally a prize of one free night for two in his hotel and a complementary bottle of wine.
SARANAS' CRUISING GUIDES
Eric and Sherrell Watson have been cruising since 2005 aboard Sarana, their Pacific Seacraft 31. Since then they have written two downloadable cruising guides about Central America, Explore Central America Part one which is available for $13 and part two for $18. Together both guides cover from Guatemala to Panama featuring many anchorages you won’t find anywhere else. The guides are written for sailors by sailors and contain many waypoints and chart images. Also, each guide has important weather information relative to the area such as crossing the Tehuantepec or Papagayos. Oh yes, and find the good surf spots too! They’ve also written nine other cruising and information guides which are available for download free on their website. The Watson’s have given us two free guides to be given away at the next two rally seminars in Puerto Vallarta. One note about the Explore Central America downloadable guides: Please don’t make a bunch of copies to distribute to all your friends. The small price for the guides is more than a bargain to purchase. To order just click on the sponsors link.
