PURPOSE OF THE RALLY
The west coast of Central America has often been bypassed, as cruisers tend to take a direct route to southern or northern destinations. The objective of this rally is to help cruisers to get together to discover the less traveled but spectacular destination of El Salvador and have a lot of fun at the same time. In addition to this, our aim is also to create awareness among Salvadorians about the cruising lifestyle.
With the growing number of cruisers returning to Mexico and those in Mexico wanting to venture south the country is becoming more accessible to cruisers. The rally destination of Bahia del Sol offers a low-key, relaxing atmosphere where like-minded cruisers can meet and enjoy “Bahia” with a “cruisers vacation” feel and safely leave their boats while they travel inland Central America.

Hey This sounds great! We loved our time there and we're happy to see that things are getting just a tad more organized where cruisers are concerned. Big hellos to Carlos, Santos, Santini and Murray & Collette (from SAGA)!
